Women on the Verge will take place on the 16th June 2017 at The University of Manchester. The Organising Committee has concluded the abstracts review process, and will release shortly the final conference program. In the meantime, here follows the conference key info.

  • Four streams on different perspectives from the fields of Literature, Translation, Sociology, Media and Film Studies, Cultural Studies and Gender Studies
  • Keynotes: Dr Danielle Hipkins (Associate Professor of Italian Studies and Film, University of Exeter); Dr Sharon Kinsella (Lecturer in Japanese Studies, University of Manchester)
  • Final panel on The (virtual) space of heritage: case studies in curating, researching and showcasing female archives in the digital era
